Hello! My name is Rachel Malk, I'm an RN and IBCLC. My passion for maternal/newborn health began as an RN at Cedar Sinai's postpartum unit. After helping countless women with breastfeeding, I decided to focus on lactation and became an IBCLC.
In addition, I am a seasoned mother of 5 (boys!) I bring a blend of research-based information and practical advice to each consultation to ease your journey into motherhood so that you can meet your personal breastfeeding goals.
Services - Insurance and The Lactation Network
The Lactation Network (TLN) helps parents and parents-to-be get the lactation and breastfeeding support they deserve, covered by insurance.
If approved, you will be covered for up to 6 lactation sessions, including a 1 on 1 prenatal consultation. I am happy to offer both in-home and virtual support.
If you have an Anthem, BCBS, BC of California, Cigna or United PPO plan, check your coverage.
Services - Out of Pocket
All consults include a weighted feed to assess for milk transfer, position and latch support as well as a personalized plan of care. Follow-up questions are welcomed!
